Nice to meet you!

Hi, I’m Amy

I’m an accent and dialect coach with a background in international screen and stage performance.

Born and raised in South Africa, I trained as an actor in Cape Town and Los Angeles before building a career that took me across three continents.

My work has spanned television and film sets, recording studios, and theatre stages, with projects including NCIS, Black Sails, The Romanoffs, the office comedy PBC, and the narrative podcast The Left/Right Game. I’ve also collaborated with artists such as Dame Harriet Walter, Tessa Thompson, Danny Trejo, and Alan Ritchson.

Through these experiences, I came to understand something fundamental:
Voice is never just sound - it’s identity, story, and connection.

My approach

I don’t believe accent work is about elimination.
I believe it’s about expansion.

Living across continents and cultures, and training in disciplines ranging from Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and stunt work to long-distance running has taught me this: we can step into new terrain without losing ourselves.

That philosophy guides my coaching and my mission: to help you feel at home in your voice - even in unfamiliar territory.

Acting requires transformation
new dialects, new physicalities, new worlds.

What began as preparation soon became a fascination with how voice shapes belonging, confidence, and opportunity.

This led me to certify as an accent and dialect coach through Knight-Thompson Speechwork, where I trained in the mechanics of speech and how voice lives in the body.

Who I work with

  • Actors preparing for roles

  • Professionals navigating global workplaces

  • Language learners seeking clarity and confidence

  • Anyone wanting to expand their vocal range without losing authenticity

Your voice is a doorway.

Step through it, and the world opens in ways you never expected.
